Pollution from oil spills

Y1A dredger collided with a stationary bunker vessel on 14 Jun 2024. The oil spilled from the collision at Pasir Panjang Container Terminal has reached shores on Sentosa, Labrador, St. John's Island. Oil has also been spotted at East Coast Park.

How will this affect the both the aquatic and terrestrial life?

What can be done to mitigate the impacts?

The boom placed in front of the sluice gate to prevent water in the Marina reservoir to be polluted.
