China has been hit by three consecutive typhoons, bringing extreme rainfall, destructive winds, and widespread flash floods to multiple regions.

Typhoon Noul (Late July)

Landfall: Struck near Huizhou, Guangdong Province at 3:50 AM on July 26
Impact: At least 10 fatalities were reported due to severe rain-triggered floods. More than 700,000 people were relocated across Guangdong to escape high flood risks.

Typhoon Bavi (Mid July)

Landfall: Crossed the coast of the eastern Zhejiang Province on July 11.
Impact: Over 2 million people were evacuated along eastern and northern coastal corridors.

Typhoon Maysak (Early July)

Landfall: Made landfall on July 3 along the coast of the southern island province of Hainan.
Impact: Swept rapidly into the Guangxi region, dumping catastrophic rainfall that exceeded 700 mm in a 24-hour period.
Disasters: The deluge triggered multiple reservoir dam failures in Hengzhou, resulting in at least six deaths and affecting over 375,000 people. Its atmospheric remnants also spawned two rare, destructive tornadoes farther north in central China's Hubei Province
